Discover Winkeltje Kouwenhoven

The sweetest shop in Delft

Do

For those with a sweet tooth, there is Winkeltje Kouwenhoven – the nicest and oldest sweet shop in the city – and part of the Museum Prinsenhof Delft. You will find traditional Dutch sweets here: ‘peppermint pillows’, cinnamon sticks, ‘butter waffles’ and magic gobstoppers – and nostalgic toys, classic picture postcards and old-fashioned oil lamps, too. Of course, you are also welcome to visit the shop simply to soak up the atmosphere of earlier days. The shop is open from Tuesdays to Sundays, 12 to 4 pm.

Towards a new museum

The Museum Prinsenhof Delft is temporarily closed for renovation and refurbishment.

During the renovation, we will accompany our visitors outside. The collection will be on display in new places, and activities will take place at other locations.
